Privacy policy

The short version: we store no chats. Your conversations are saved only in your own browser. Each message passes through our server to Klaizon's own AI model, which answers it and keeps nothing.

What stays on your device

Your chats, attached documents and the files Klaizon makes are kept in your browser's own storage (IndexedDB) on your device. We cannot see them. Delete everything in settings, or clearing this site's data in your browser, removes them permanently.

What passes through our server

When you send a message, the conversation needed to answer it is sent from your browser to our server (run on Cloudflare Workers) and on to Klaizon's own AI model, which runs on a computer Klaizon operates. Our server does not write your text to any log or database. We run it with request logging turned off.

To enforce the daily limit, the server turns your IP address into a code using a secret that changes every day, and stores only that code and a count of messages. It never stores your IP address. We also keep daily totals with no link to any person: number of messages, refusals by category, and sponsored-suggestion impressions and clicks.

When Klaizon looks something up

To answer a factual question, Klaizon may search the web, open web pages and fetch live data. The search words go from our server to Klaizon's own search service, which asks search engines (currently Brave, Bing and Yahoo) for results. Web pages and live data (Open-Meteo weather, Yahoo Finance prices, European Central Bank exchange rates via Frankfurter, ESPN scores, OpenStreetMap places, Wikipedia) are fetched by our server. Those services see the request coming from Klaizon, not from you, and they never receive your IP address. We keep no record of what was searched or read; only a daily count of lookups per person, under the same daily-changing code as the message count.

Who else sees your messages

  • Klaizon's own AI model, which writes the answer. It runs on a computer Klaizon operates, not at an outside AI company, and it keeps no copy of your messages and is never trained on them.
  • A safety check, done by the same model on the same computer, which reads each message and any picture in it only to catch the five hard lines.
  • Cloudflare, our host, which carries the connection and runs a bot check (Turnstile) when you start.

Cookies

One cookie, set after the bot check, proves you passed it. It contains no personal information and lasts 24 hours. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.

Sponsored suggestions

Sponsored suggestions are picked by our server from the words of your last message only, without building a profile, and at most once every 5 answers. If you click one, the click is counted (offer name only) and you are sent to the advertiser, whose own privacy policy applies from then on.

Children

Klaizon is not intended for anyone under 18.
